Dealers Conference
GATHERING AT WELLINGTON Some 120 dealers and executives from all over New Zealand attended the annual dealers' conference" of Messrs. Todd Motors, Limited, New Zealand distributors of Chrysler, - De Soto, Chrysler-Plymouth, Humber-Hillman, and Talbot cars and Fargo and Comrner Trucks, held at Wellington on Thursday and Friday of last week. All delegates visited Todd Motor Industries' factory at Potone, where the complete range of attractive 1938 models was inspected. After viewing these new models the delegates made a tour of the factory.
The programme included a banquet to the dealers, press, and leaders of the motor trade organisations. The Ministor of Transport, the Hon. 11. Semple, and the Mayor of Wellington, Mr. T. C. A. Hislop, were the principal guests of the evening. A golf tournament for the Todd Cup was held at Judgeford Park, the cup being won by Mr. A. G. Macdonald, sales manager of the company at Wellington.
