ORGANISED GAMES
' SUNSHINE ASSOCIATION SUMMER ACTIVITIES ENDED The organised play activities conducted during the holidays by the Auckland Community Sunshine Association were concluded yesterday when about 300 children from the Mount Albert, Mount Eden and Grey Lynn districts gathered at Gribblc-Hirst Park, Mount Albert. Older boys took part in cricket matches.' girls played rounders and other games, and a variety of entertainment was provided for small children. All the children were provided with refreshments.
During the afternoon the park wa* visited by the president of the Sunshine Association, Sir George Richardeon, who presented the E. Cucksey Cup for cricket to the Grey Lynn team. Another visitor was Mrs. W. Champney Bright, president of the Community Sunshine Association women's auxiliary, tthe "games were supervised by Mr. H. 'A. Cramond, honorary director of the play activities, who was assisted by Mr A. McGregor, voluntary organiser of games at Fowlds Park, and other Helpers. ,
