INFLUX FOR WEDDING THOUSANDS OF COUNTRYMEN (Received January 19, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, Jan. 18 The Cairo correspondent of the British United Press says thousands of people from all parts of Egypt are proceeding to Cairo for the wedding festivities of King Farouk. Many will be accommodated in huge tents from food will. be served.
Sir Miles Lampson, British Ambassador to Egypt, presented King Farouk with King- George's wedding gift, consisting of two sporting guns and other sporting equipment, accompanied by a letter of congratulation. Herr Hitler has presented King Farouk with a magnificent Mercedes car.
