TRAINING IN DOMINION ORDER FROM GOVERNMENT [from OtJR OWN correspondent] * LONDON, Jan. 1 A further order for a Tiger Moth and a Hornet Moth was placed recently by the New Zealand Government with the De Havilland Aircraft Company, which despatched seven Tiger Moths to the Dominion a few weeks ago. The Tiger Moth is to be shipped during the middle of January, and the Hornet Moth in April. Tiger Moths are" the standard machine for civil and military training, and for preliminary, advanced and aerobatic training, including blind flying. The Hornets are of the saloon type, suitable for club and touring purposes, but not designed for ad-, vanced training. Similar engines are used for both types.
