BLASTING FATALITY
MAORI WORKER KILLED [BT TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION] WELLINGTON, Monday A Maori, Mr. Jack Arthur, residing at Porirua Pa. was killed this morning as the result of an accident at the new, overbridge being erected at Porirua railway crossing. Apparently Mr. Arthur was standing at the end of the ramp while workmen were blasting concrete piles some distance away, and a large piece of concrete flow off and struck Mr. Arthur on the head, fracturing his skull. He died almost immediately.
