PENDING ROYAL MARRIAGE ASSENT FORMALLY GRANTED (Received December 27, 5.5 p.m.) •LONDON, Dec. 26 The King attended a service in the Kandringham Church this morning and held a Council at 6 p.m. Those present included the Duke of Gloucester, the Duke of Kent and the Earl of Athlone. / It is understood the meeting of the Council was for the purpose of securing •th* Boyal Assent to the marriage of Princess Frederika of Brunswick to Prince Paul of Greece, which was for.in ally granted. WEDDING gN ATHENS HJ*E OE HISTORIC COACH LONDON, Dec. 20 Efty Princes and Princesses will attend the wedding of Crown Prince Paul •of Greece and Princess Frederika of Brunswick in Athens Cathedral. The, Duke and Duchess of Kent will represent the British Royal Family. The * Duchess is the bridegroom's cousin. The bridal couple will drive to the Cathedral iff a coach which once belonged to Napoleon the Third of France. Part of the honeymoon will be spent in England.
