Dec. 11 The versatile Prince Birabongse of Siam, who has achieved prominence buth as a racing motor-driver and a sculptor, has become engaged to --liss Ceril Hey cock, a 21-year-old art student, daughter of Lieut.-Colonel and Mrs. P. R. Heycock, of London. The prince recently left on a visit to Siam, and Miss Heycock has since received a Cirtle advising her that the necessary consent to their marriage had been obtained. Miss Heycock sat for Prince Birabongse for a sculpted head which he had accepted by s the Royal Academy this year. She has known him for some years. He was at Eton with her brother.For several years the prince, who races under the name of B. Bira, has been among the most successful racing drivers in Britain, and has many notable wins to his credit- His racing in the coming year is likely to be interfered with, however, as his licence is at present suspended for a motoring offenc®..
