RAISING THE STANDARD TUITION FOR BRITISH GIRLS (Received December 10, 0.5 p.m.) British Wireless RUGBY, Dec. 9 With a view to raising the standard of cookery in the home the President of the Board of Education, fcarl Stanhope, has sent a circular to local authorities recommending practical instruction for young women. He has appointed a committee to consider the aims of domestic instruction in schools.
