[from our own correspondent] MORRINSVILLE, Monday At a representative gathering of members of the Walton branch of the New Zealand Farmers' Union, Mr. H. 0. Mellsop, Auckland provincial president, gave a resume of the activities of the union, following which the following officers were elected:—President, Mr. G. Fromm; vice-president, Mr. WV Carter; secretary and treasurer, Mr. P. Watson; committee, Messrs. Steele, Fagan, Dodd, Brink-,, worth and HoJme3.
