YOUNG MAORI INJURED
BREAKING IN A HORSE LONG ' AMBULANCE TRIP A St. John ambulance ma do a special ;trip from Auckland to Hclensville yesterday to convey a Maori, who had boon injured while breaking in a young horse, to the Auckland Hospital. The injured man, Emanuel William Pobey, aged 23, a farm hand, employed at Parakai, was admitted suffering from head injuries, but his condition is not regarded as serious. Whilo ho was breaking in tho horse at his employers' farm, tho animal becamo frightened and bolted. Tho ropes became entangled in tho man's legs and he was thrown heavily to the ground, injuring his head.
