WOMEN'S CLUB MEETING
An enjoyable social afternoon was held by the gardening circle of the Rotorua Women's Club in the club rooms recently. Mrs. J. W. Tyson presided. A com petition was won by Mrs. Boucher who received a prize donated by Mrs. D. Ford The hostesses were Mrs. J. W. Tyson, Mrs. G- H. French and Mrs. E. Carroll. Among those present were: —Mrs. K. Carroll, 'Mrs. G. H. French, Mrs. C. S. Dalgliesh, Mrs J. W. Tyson. Mrs. J. F. Finn, Mrs. Peace, Mrs Boucher and Mrs. W. Dingwall. Mrs. G. C. Hitchcock, of Pukuatua Street, has returned from a visit to the Islands. Mrs. A. W. T. Hyde, of Ridgeviow, Katikati, is a visitor to Rotorua. Mrs. John Stafford, of Kelburn, Wellington who has been visiting Rotorua, has left for Auckland. Miss Jury, of Hotonia, has returned from a trip to the Islands. • Mrs. Charles. Wheeler, of Penrose, is * tho guest of her sister, Mrs. A. Steele, of Toko Street. Mrs. Coverdalo, of Pukuatua Street, has returned from a short visit to Auckland. , Miss Y. Wall is has returned to Auckland after a visit to Rotorua. Miss Jr. Cooncv, of Wellington, is visiting Rotorua and is staying with her mother, Mrs. 11. H. Cooncy, ot Whaka Road. - „ ~ Mrs. Mcßrcatv, of Palmerston Isorth, is a visitor to Rotorua.
