NURSES' EXAMINATIONS
I FREEDOM FROM NIGHT DUTY "1 give this reply with a considerable sense of indignation," said the Rev. W. C. Wood, chairman of the Auckland Hospital Board, in contradicting yesterday a statement made by a correspondent to the Hkrat.d that nurses | at the Auckland Hospital were required j to sit for examinations following night duty. "The . hours of examination were from nine ! o clock until noon, and there were third-year and second-year nurses sitting Ihe third-year nurses were all put oil night duty from .September 27 and no night duty was undertaken during the period of examination.
