OLD SCHOOL FRIENDS
AN ENJOYABLE REUNION A reunion party in honour of .Mrs. Arthur L. Hill, of "Wellington, a former pupil of the Grafton School, who came to Auckland to attend the school's diamond jubilee celebrations last week, was given in the Milne and Choyce tea rooms yesterday afternoon by Mrs. Donald Bae and Mrs. F. G. Fish, also former pupils of the school. Many amusing reminiscences of school days were exchanged among the guests, some of whom had not met for over 40 years, and a lovely bouquet of roses was presented to Mrs. Hill, who thanked the two hostesses for giving her the opportunity of meeting her old school friends.
Among those present were:—Mrs. D. Itae (formerly Flossie Langlev), Mrs. F. G. Fish (Mary Munce), Mrs. E. M. Glover (Fdith Turner), Miss Lilv Marshall, jVlrrf. K. Porter (Nita Munce), Miss Pearl Turner, Mrs. Chugg (Stella Lempriere). Mrs. Clayton (Amy Cooper), Airs Cozens (Olive Priske), Mrs. Woolnough (Rose Smythc). Mrs. Smith (Grace Greenland), Mrs. W. L. Wilson (Amy Herring), Miss Grace Monk and Miss Ethel Herring. The guest of honour was formerly Phoebe C'oates.
