TENDERS ACCEPTED
PIAKO COUNTY ROAD WORK [from our own correspondent] MORRINSVILLE, Tuesday Tenders for tar-sealing work costing £4783 were accepted by the Piako County Council at yesterday's meeting. All the tenders were from W. S. Goosinan and Company, Limited, and are for work to be done in the coming summer.
The tenders are as follows:—Te Aroha-Waharoa highway (two miles of forming and sealing), £2383; Morrins-ville-Tahuna highway in Tahuna riding (1 mile 72 chains of resealing and minor improvements), £493; Hangawera Road sealing (one mile), £399; No. 7 road sealing (one mile), £500; Kiwitahi Station road sealing (1$ miles), £625; Stanley Road. waru, sealing (56 chains), £383.
