SEVERE INJURY ON THIGH ' 1 VISITOR TO WAIKATO FARM " ■ [by telegraph—own correspondent] HAMILTON, Thursday A severe injury on the right thigli was received by Mr. David Lnston, aged 24, a post office employee, of Wellington, at Matangi this afternoon. He was spending a holiday on the ftuin of his brother, Mr. W. T. Luxton, and was seen to touch an aged Jersey bull through a fence. He then went through a gate and tried to catch the bull by the nose-ring. He failed to do so, and • the bull turned and gored him, inflicting a wound six inches long and an inch deep. - Mr. W. T. Luxton wituessed the accident and went to his brother's assistance. The bull was a quiet one, and was not supposed to be dangerous, Mr. Luxton was admitted to, the Waikato Hospital, where his condition is considered to be not serious.
