ELLERSLIE CROQUET CLUB
Over 60 guests were welcomed by the president, Mrs. A. J. Laird, when the Ellerslie Croquet Club opened its greens for the season. The Auckland Centre was represented by the president, Sirs. Webber, and Mrs. Harvey and Mrs. Breckon. Mrs. McKinney, an old member and the first president of the club, played the first ball and declared the greens open. The prizewinners for the day were: —A grado, Mrs. Breckon; consolation, Mrs. Kimber; B grade, Mrs. Mullins; consolation, Mrs. Turner.
