FLY-WEIGHT TITLE BOUT LYNCH DEFEATS KANE (Received October 14, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON. Oct. 13 In a contest for the British and European fly-weight boxing championship Benny Lynch (holder) knocked out Peter Kane in the 13th round. Lynch caught Kane napping twice and knocked him down. Subsequently, in a magnificent fight, Kane was severely punished in the later rounds. He was down for the count of seven in the 13th before a rain of blows completed his first defeat for three years. CONTEST IN AMERICA ROSENBLOOM BEATS NESTELL (Received October 14, 5.5 p.m.) LOS ANGELES, Oct. 13 Max Rosenblloorn gained the decision over Bob Nestell in a 10-round boxing bout today Nestell s face was badly cut about above the eyes. Rosenbloom's lead was impressive in all except two rounds.
