TRAM FARE UNPAID

ATTEMPT AT EVASION WOMAN TO PAY COSTS An attempt to evade payment of the tram fare for a journey between Remuera and Newmarket was admitted by a married woman in the Magistrate's Court on Wednesday. It- was stated that defendant tendered as fare a special one-day travel ticket, which entitled the holder to ten one section rides for Is, but which could be used only on the day of issue.
