MAORI'S THEFT FROM CAR [from our own correspondent] FUKEKOHE, Thursday Sentence of three months' imprisonment was imposed on a voung Maori, Joseph Martin, aged 21, by Messrs. C. E. Walter and M. Cronin, J.P.'s, in the Pukekohe Court yesterday for stealing a leather purse and contents, valued at £l6 10s, and a suitcase and contents, valued at £l4 10s, from a parked car at Pukekohe on September 18.
