PRESENTATION NIGHT

DANCE AT PAPATOETOE A splendid army of trophies was displayed at the annual presentation da 11 re of the Papatoetoo Amateur Athletic and Cycle Cluh held in the Papatoctoe Town Hall on Tuesday night. The president, Mr. H. C. Webster, welcomed an attendance of fully 200 members and friends. The programme was directed by Mr. B. Hounslow, and the following ladies' committee assisted in the arrangements: —Mcsdames A. White, B. Hounslow, J. Newcombe, 1). W. Bussell, Clelland, Waite, Cow and Hill. The presentation of trophies was made by the chairman of the Papatoctoe Town Board, Mr. W. J. Nicholson, who congratulated the club on its outstanding achievements in amateur athletics. It. was mentioned that the club had succeeded in securing six of tire first seven places in the 100miles road cycle race last Saturday. Among those present were: —Mrs. H. Clare, Mrs. C.
