TENNIS CLUB DANCE
An enjoyable dance was held by the To Awamutu Tennis Club in the local Town Hall on Saturday to mark the opening of the new season. A large number of visitors from surrounding districts attended. The proceeds of the dance are to be applied to the reduction of the cost of re-surfacing the club's courts. The president, Mr. G. Wright Fulton, and Mrs. Fulton, received the guests, the latter wearing lettuce green Chantilly lace and taffetas coat
The dance and supper arrangements were in the charge of the following committee: —Mosdamcs Fulton, A. Kay, Misses F. Spiers, L. Cruickshank, N. Miller, E. and N. Maxwell, 11. Spiers, V. Holt, G. 801 l and Messrs. H. Ronton, V. dc Cook, R. Goodall, F. Miller and A. L. Gilmore.
