Cairns and of Mrs. Cairns, Ellaslea, Muckhart, and Helen Caroline GuthrieSmith, second daughter of the late Mr. H. W. Guthrie-Smith, of Hangaroa, and Caldra, Duns, and Mrs. GuthrieSmith, Balrudderie, Rumbling Bridge, Kinross-shire, wrote our London correspondent on September 15.
