! ONEHUNGA ASSOCIATION The Mayor of Onehunga, Mr. J. Park, who was present at the annual meeting of the Onehungi Cricket Association, furnished a comprehensive report on the Borough Council's development scheme at Waikaraka Park. He intimated that, although progress had been retarded by wet weather, the council would be in a position to provide six wickets for the coming season. He said that the borough engineer had discovered deposits of a soil several feet below the old surface of the park, which experts had pronounced as bring eciual to that obtained from Port Albert. This soil would be given a trial oil the new pitches.
