B GRADE CHAMRIONSHIR Tho remaining games in the second round, of tho Auckland B grade amateur billiards championship were played at -Messrs. Billiards, Limited, showroomß, last evening. C. M. Piper met A. Spalding in the first same. The latter gained an early advantago by moro consistent play, and was first to reach/ the hundred mark. The scoring _ was very , even up to the second hundred, with the-run.) of play favouring Spalding. Piper played solidly ovor the final stages, and registered useful runs of 24 and 21. Spalding, however.; maintained his advantage and won a well contested 'game. The final scores were:—A. Spalding, 300; C. M. Piper, 256. Tho game between W. J. Craies and E. P. Jones opened brightly, Craies making runsof '2O and 22, while Jones .registered a break, of 23. Craies, who was playing up to his best form, scored very solidly throughout; and did not give his opponent many oppor tunities. Craies won and made breaks of 20, 22, 21, 2S and 4S.
