LEAGUE OF MOTHERS
Manurewa. —The annual meeting of the Manurewa branch of the League of Mothers was held in the Town Hall, Mrs. A. C. A. Sexton presiding. The election of officers resulted: President, Mrs. A. C. A. Sexton; vice-presidents, Mrs. Hood, Mrs. Muir, Mrs. Collie, and Mrs. Sheldon; secretary, Mrs. G. J. Nicholas; treasurer, Mrs. A. Collie. Some useful hints on school lunches were given by members, the president giving a short talk on the same subject. Afternoon tea was served by Mesdames Haughey and Middleton.
