AIR LINERS DELAYED

SOUTH ISLAND SERVICE [BY TELKGKAFH —I'RKSS ASSOCIATION] BLENHEIM, Wednesday Thick weather between Blenheim and Christchurch caused a disruption of Union Airways' services again to-day. This morning both yesterday's and today's south-bound aeroplanes were at Woodbourno aerodrome waiting for the weather to clear. No interruption has been caused in the Cook Strait Airways' services. The south-bound liner arrived on time from Palmerston North this morning, but could not proceed. The aeroplane which had been waiting overnight was also unable to proceed, having made an attempt to get through early in the mornipg. Passengers 011 the south-bound aeroplane yesterday spent the night in Blenheim, find this morning, in company with a number of passengers on to-day's south-bound machine, engaged a special car to take them to Christ church.

The weather is dull and fine here but the prospects of an improvement in the conditions further south are slight.
