LYCEUM CLUB
RECEPTION TO MRS. GORDON Branching sprays of blossom and pussywillow, Avith vases of daffodils and anemones, decorated the Lyceum Club rooms on Friday night, when a reception was held in honour of Mrs. Kenneth Gordon, who represented the Federated Women's Clubs at the roeent Pan-Pacific Conference. The chair was taken by Miss Ellen Melville. Mrs. Gordon remarked on the breezy style of the American delegates. She was fascinated by their manner, because underneath it lay a very real and indomitable purpose.
