TE AROHA CALEDONIANS
BIRTHDAY INGLESIDE Visitors from Auckland, Jtotorua, Hamilton, Tc Awamutu, Cambridge, Matamata, Waihi, Tauranga, Pukokohe and Morrinsville were present at the To Aroha Caledonian Society's second birthday inglcside hold in the Catholic Hall on Saturday. The gathering which numbered about 500, constituted a record for the society, and the evening was a highly successful one. A varied programme of songs, bagpipe selections, and instrumental solos was presented, interspersed with old-time dances. Exhibition Highland dances were also given by girls from the Tu Aroha Society. An entertaining address on "Mr. Punch visits Scotland" was given by the guest of the evening, Mr. A. J. Sinclair of Te Awamutu.
