ALBERTA'S REVOLT
DISALLOWED LEGISLATION DEFIANCE OF OTTAWA EDMONTON. August 30 The Premier of Alberta, Mr. William Aberhart, in a letter to the Prime Minister, Mr. W. L. Mackenzie King, declares that Alberta is determined to put into operation the disallowed Bank Act. Addressing a picnic party, Mr. Aberhart stated that Ottawa would have other Acts to disallow after the special session of the legislature had adopted a resolution urging Ottawa to rescind the disallowance. The Dominion Cabinet will consider Mr. Aberhart's defiance on Wednesday.
