AUCKLAND B GRADE TITLES FURTHER MATCHES DECIDED The Auckland B grade billiards championship was continued last evening at Messrs. Billiards, Limited, showrooms. In the first panic, between E. C. Sutton ■ind B. Raines, both players scored freely in the early stages. '.!!aincs, with useful runs of 22 and 23, trained a slight lead, which he held at the half-way mark. Sutton, however, improved over the latter stages with runs of 27 and 50, and won by 77 points. The final scores wore:—E. C. Sutton, 900 (20, 27, 50); B. Raines, 22!* (20, 22, 23). The second game, between J. Proctor and F. G. Forrest, commenced brightly. Proctor mado a break of 25. Forrest, however, played more steadily, and reached the hundred mark with a slight lead. Proctor was the more consistent up to the second hundred mark and gained a useful lead. The remaining points were keenly contested, Proctor winning by a margin of 15. E. F. .Tones will play A. Amos at 7 o'clock this evening, and G. Basham will play D. Jones at $.30 o'clock.
