PAKURANGA HUNT

LAST MEET AT WAIUKU GOOD SPORT ENJOYED LARGE NUMBER OF FOLLOWERS The Pakuranga Hunt hold a meet at Waipipi, near Waiuku, yesterday, at tlie residence of Mr. and Mrs. J. MeGowan, who provided the limit breakfast. On behalf of the large leathering, the host and hostess were thanked bv the deputy-master, Commander 1). A. Biugley. Hounds were thrown oIF from Mr. MeGowan's property and moved from there to Mr. A. Jones' land, where a hare was soon put up. it ran through the swam |) and across the road to Mr. J. Walmslcy's farm, where it was accounted for in some scrub. Another liarc went in the direction of the hills, over Mr. V. Masters' land, and back along the swamp, where a hill was made. After moving across Mr. E. Kerch's estate the hunt reached Mr. A. Mayhcad's farm, where several hares were afoot. One took a good line of country, but was lost. Tho hunt then worked back to Mr. W. Craig's farm, whore another good bare was raised. Alter a good run hounds had to bo stopped becauso ol the lateness of tho hour, j The limit then returned to Mr. J. MeGowan's, where afternoon tea was enjoyed. This was the last hunt of the season at Waiuku. Among the followers wore: —I he deputy-master, Commander D. A. Bingley, on Comet; tho field master, Mr. A.
