LEAGUE OF MOTHERS

Bolmont-Bayswater. Mrs. Verran presided at the annual meeting of the branch. A satisfactory report was presented on the year's work. The election of officers resulted: —President, Mrs. Verran; vice-president, Mrs. Seliulz; secretary, Mrs. Strong; librarian, Mrs. Corlett; committee, Mesdames Segar, Scott, Saxon. McCarthy, Ivessall, Hawks worth, Drew and Glassey. Mrs. Verran presented Mrs. Saxon, the retiring librarian, with a gift in appreciation of her work. Mrs. Brady demonstrated rope basketry and traymaking. Afternoon tea was served. Henderson. —At the annual < meeting held recently Mrs. Harvey presided. The election of oflicers resulted: —President, Mrs. Knaggs; secretary and treasurer, Mrs. Osborne; reporting secretary, Mrs. Lane. The retiring committee were all re-elected. The speaker for the afternoon was Mrs, le Petit, who also sang. Hostesses were Mrs. Owen Jones, Mrs. Pethybridge, Mrs. Harvev and Mrs. Lowe.
