FREE KINDERGARTEN
NORTHCOTE CARD SOCIAL A successful card social was held in the Northcoto Returned Soldiers' clubroom in' aid of the Xorthcote Free Kindergarten. The gathering was welcomed by the president, Mrs. A. Cowie, and the hostess, Mrs. W. K. A. Stewart. The prize-winners were:—Bridge, Mrs. Finhiyson and Mrs. A. Herrick; five hundred, Mrs. A. C. T. Winkelmann; niah jongg, Mrs. It. E. Cadness and Aliss J. Gilfillan. Among those present was the Mayoress of Xorthcote, Mrs. A. Campbell.
