WELLINGTON, Tuesday The 15 flats for married fire brigadesmen at tho new station in Clydo Quay, Wellington, represent the last word in compactness, convenience and comfort. In each flat there is a sitting room, two bedrooms, a bathroom and a kitchenette—all opening off the entrance hill. What tho kitchens in size they make up in equipment. Each one has an electric stove, a boiler, a sink, tubs, and built-in cupboards. The bathrooms are just as well fitted as the kitchens. Tho enamelled baths are boxed in, and are provided with hot and cold water taps for either plunge or shower baths. Tho apartments being prepared for tho superintendent, officers and single men in the station building are also well finished and admirably equipped.
