MILITARY DANCE
TERRITORIAL ASSOCIATION GAY SCENE PRESENTED A large and happy crowd attended the monthly dance arranged by the New Zealand Territorial Association, Northern Command, in the Artillery Hall, Rutland Street, on Saturday night. The ballroom was gaily decorated with a canopy of blue and gold ribbons, while Empire flags, interspersed with tall stands of bamboo foliage, covered the walls.
Supper was served upstairs, where a glowing fire and vases of early spring flowers created a bright and cheery atmosphere. The men's committee, which comprised representatives from the various units, included: —Messrs. H. J. Gillmore, W. Hogg, N. Chiswell, A. Savory, B. Walters, J. Collins, W. Freeman, J. Duncan.
