MANGEBE POUND MEET

SEVERAL HARES KILLED LARGE NUMBER OF RIDERS Excellent sport was enjoyed by members of the Pakuranga Hunt Club at Mangere Pound 011 Saturday afternoon. The going was good and there was a really strong fccent. Hounds threw off in 31r. G. Spcakman's property and worked through to 31r. A. Cattenach's, where a strong hare was put up. It crossed the main road to Mr, E. P. Paul's and doubled back to Mr. Speakman's and on to Mr. 31. Renhie's, where it made a circle anrl was accounted for in the creek. Another hare was thrown off and took a good line of .country over to 31 r. K. Anderson's, where it . was killed at the back of the property. Hounds were then lifted, taken across the Ascott Estate to the road, and turned into Mr. H. "Wallace's property, where they drew a blank. Then they went across the road to Mr. W. Paul's farm, where another good hare was put up. It crossed the road into Mr. H. Ellett's and circled the mountain to-Mr. E. Ellett's. Sei-erai other hares were afoot and other good runs tvere obtained over the properties of Messrs. F. Jones. H. Wallace, Paul, A. 31. Rennie, H. Ellett and E. Ellett.
