PLAY AT TITIKANGI MEDAL COMPETITION RESULTS OF FIRST ROUND Members of tlio Titirangi Golf Club played the first of three medal rounds for the Self Cup on Saturday. GLENDOWIE COMPETITION HOWEY WALKER CUP The final round of the Howey Walker Cup competition, decided on the best three of four medal rounds on current handicaps, was played by members of the Glondowie Coif Club on Saturday. The cup was won by S. Keys with an aggregate of 213 strokes and an average of 71. M. Clark was runnerup with 214. Other good scores were:—D. L. Robinson, 215; It. W. McCarthy. 210; H. E. Jolly, 218. . The R. B. Allen, trophies for tho best individual round, played in conjunction with the Howey Walker Cup competition, resulted: — Soniors: C. D'Authreau, 80, 12 —08. H. E. Jolly, who also returned a net card of 08. lost on tho count-back. Juniors: S. Keys, S3, 17—(iO. A Stableford bogey handicap played during the week-ond was won by D. McGregor with a score of 22, 11 —33. inter-club' contest 'MANUKAU BEATS WAIUKU An inter-club golf match between members of the Waiyku and Manukau Clubs was played at tho Manukau links during tho week-end. Manukau won by 14 matches to two, two being all square.
