A practice will be held at tho Ponsonby Club's shed, Ponsonby, to-morrow evening at eight o'clock.
KING COUNTRY FIXTURE POSTPONEMENT DESIRED A match between an Auckland senior Rugby fifteen and King Country nan been arranged to take place at Te Kuiti next Saturday. In view of Auckland's engagement with Hawke'g Bay, however, the side to meet King Country would only be a second fifteen. , . The Auckland Rugby Union, therefore, is negotiating with the King Country Union to have this match postponed until Saturday week. A much stronger Auckland slue will then be available, in spile of the fact that members of the University_ and Grammar teams, which will be contesting the final Of the Jubileo Trophy competition, will not be available. •COLLEGIATE TOURNEY GAMES PLAYED IN WELLINGTON [BY TKI/KGRAPH—riIKSS association] WELLINGTON, Sunday The annual inter-collegiate Rugby tournament, between "Wellington, Wanganui, Nelson and Christ's Colleges was opened on the Wellington College grounds yesterday under ideal conditions. Christ's College beat Wangantii by 21 points to 8 by a monopoly of the ball and Wellington beat Nelson by 11) points to 8 after a brilliant display by their backs. The final will bo contested tomorrow between the Wellington and Christ's Colleges, as it was in 31)33 when tho tournament was last held in Wellington. In an old boys' match Christ's College bent Wanganui Collegiate School by 27 j>oints to nil.
