CHEQUE FRAUD ALLEGED

"MAYFAIR PLAYBOY" PROJECTED WORLD CRUISE LONDON, August 26 Dick Beaumont, son of Dome de Sark, racing motorist, airman and navigator, was detained by tho police when he called at Southampton to buy provisions for the 50ft. yawl in which he and '-"five other self-styled "Mayfair playboys," tired of "debs and debts," planned to start this week on a'round-the-world trip. Beaumont was brought to London in connection with a cheque transaction. Ho was later charged at BowStreet with passing a worthless cheque at a West End hotel. Tho prosecutor said that a more serious charge was pending. Bail was not granted. Accused's solicitor said the trip was now not likely to take place.
