FOOT CUT WITH AXE

ACCIDENT AT CLEVEDON A deep wound which necessitated hi so removal to tho Auckland Hospital for treatment was suffered by a farmhand, Mr. Logan Frederick Mason, aged 24, single, of Clovcdon, when an axo lie was using slipped and gashed his foot. Mr. Mason was splitting logs at the farm of Mr. A. MeNicol at Clevedon when the accident happened. Ho was taken to the hospital in a St. Johnambulance. His condition Inst night was roported to be fairly serious.
