Motor-Cycle Notes
WEEK-END TRIP TO ROTORUA Over 20 riders will bo taking part in tho week-end run .to Rotonia being held by the Auckland Motor-Cycle Club this week-end. They will leave tho elubrooms in Grey's Avenuo at I.UO o'clock this afternoon and travel in a group over the whole distance, the speed being governed by that of the slowest machine. A mild form of reliability trial will be introduced on the run back to Auckland to-morrow. The Ixion Cup trial will be decided on Sunday, September 12, on a short course in close proximity to the city. In view of the success ot the Crawford Cup trial in July, it has been decided to hold tho trial over a shorter course with numerous observed * sections in- I stead of over tho usual 100-milo couro®.
