DAY OF DAYS
Eleanor Dark is steadily forging her way to the front rank of novelists, and her new story, "Sun Across the Sky," will add to her reputation. Her "chief character is a doctor in a small holiday resort, and as all tho events recorded in tho story are confined to a day the action is fairly brisk. The indigestion of Sir Frederick and other ailments, and the impulsive dash into a burning house to save a MS. of poetry, are hut samples of the humour and tragedy. Dr. Oliver, however, faces up to life, and his habit of soliloquy provides for Eleanor Dark tho main purpose of her book.
