FRANKLIN ASSOCIATION [from our own correspondent] PUKEKOHE, Friday The report to ho presented by the president, Mr. J. A. Sparks, of Pukfckohe, at the 12th annual meeting or the Franklin Lawn Tennis Association, to he held on September 22, records that the membership has now reached a total of 27 clubs; which have in all 070 members. PAEROA CLUB'S ELECTION [by telegraph—own correspondent! PAEROA, Friday Tho Paeroa Lawn Tennis Club, at its fourteenth annual meeting, elected the following officers:—Patron, Mr. W. Marshall; president, Mr. A. F. Thorp; vico-prcsident, Mr. G. Taylor; secretury and treasurer, Mr. E- H. Bartlcy; club captain. Mr. Dixon: committco, Mrs. J. R. Swann, Miss M, Taylor, Mi.«s L. Poland, Messrs. H. H. Thorp, C. N. O'Neill, D. G. McMillan, J. J. Hall anil R. li. Kccsing; auditor, Mr. J. H. Bortlctt; delegates to tho Thames Valley Lawn Tennis Association, Messrs. F. Thorp, H. Thorp, Dixon and Bartlcy.
