HAMILTON, Friday Tho importance of having all exhibits included in the parade at tho Waikato Agricultural and Pastoral Association's show was discussed at yesterday's meeting of tho committee, Tho parade was one of the big attractions, it was stated, and it was decided to notify exhibitors that animals must bo paraded. Extra loaders would bo provided on application. A donation of £SO was received from tho Waikato Racing Club. It was decided to support the compulsory licensing of side-shows at all shows. / Information was received that in future lambs exhibited would be sold at the schedule rate at the time of killing, thus preventing Joss through a delayed- sale. . PtTTARTJRir SOCIETY SUCCESSFUL SECOND YEAR [from our own correspondent] PUTARURU, Friday "In spite of. a loss of £l6 8s lOd on tho chop event, we came out with a net profit of £7 17s ldon the show," said the president, Mr. A, R. Vosper, at the annual meeting of tho Putaruru Agricultural and Pastoral Society. "Thanks to the successful queen carnival, the society has a surplus of assets over liabilities of £5lB Is 9d, whioh, considering this is only the society's second year, is very satisfactory," he continued. The total membership was 282, an increase of 27 for the year. It was decided to retain the chop events next year, the matter of raising the entry fees to be left to the incoming committee. It was resolved to raise the senior subscription to £l, and the admission feo to tho show to Is 6d. Tho election of officers resulted:— Patron, Mr. A. F. Moncur, M.P.; president, Mr. A. 11.
