MR. SEMPLE'S RETURN
ARRIVAL ON MONDAY, The Hon. R. Semple, Minister of Public/Works and Transport, who will arrive in Auckland by the Awatea on Monday morning from Australia, where he has been recuperating after his recent illness, will be extended a welcome by officials of the Labour Party. He and Mr. E. J. Howard, M.P. for Christchurch South, who % returning from England, will bo thS guests at aj social evening at the Auckland Labour Club rooms in the evening. Mr. J. T. Jennings, president of the Auckland Labour Representation Committee, will preside.
