SHIPS WORKED YESTERDAY ONLY THE TAUPATA IDLE [BY TELEGRAFH —PRESS ASSOCIATION*] CHRISTCHURCH, Thursday All vessels at Lyttclton -were worked to-day except tho Taupata, on which tho waterside dispute originated. When calls were made this morning for railway labour for vessels in port other than the Taupata, Taupata men did not offer themsolves, and labour both for railway and ships' waterside work was secured without a hitch. No labour was secured for the Taupata, which was idle all day.
