CONTAMINATED FISH CATHOLICS' DISPENSATION SiNGAPOKE, August !25 The Roman Catholic bishop of Singapore has given the members of his church a dispensation to eat meat on Fridays owing to the prevalence of contaminated fish and its connection with tho cholera epidemic now raging at Hongkong. Official figures 'are: Hongkong, 43«'3 cases and 173 deaths; Macao, 108 cases and 60 deaths. FUNDS SENT TO HONGKONG HONGKONG, August■■ 25 of dollars are being sent to Hongkong from all parts of China for safe keeping.
