PINEAPPLES NOW DEARER There have been very few alterations in retail prices during the week, vegetable and fruit values remaining unaltered except for one slight variation. This is for Queensland pineapples, which are now Is 6d to 2s per lb. instead of Is to Is 9d. Prices for meat, fish, bacon, ham, butter, cheese and eggs remain the same.
