CONTEST ON MONDAY NEXT WESCOATT TO MEET McCREADY Tho hundreds of wrestling enthusiasts in Auckland aro likely to bo present at the Town Hall on Monday night, when one of the. most attractive professional bouts of tho season will be staged. The contestants will bo Earl McCready, tho Canadian holder of the British Empiro title, whom wrestling enthusiasts are anxious to seo in action whenever the opportunity offers, and Norman ("Rusty") Wescoatt, the Hawaiian champion, whoso visit to tho Dominion has been held out as one of tho big attractionsi of tho present season Wescoatt realises the, regard in which McCready is held by local followers of the sport and, if only for that reason, will 1>« particularly anxious to give of his best.. Ho came down from Hawaii early in the season, but went straight on to Australia, whoro ho had a most successful season before coming to fulfil tho Now Zealand portion of his tour. As was seen when lie mot Blomfield, Wescoatt belongs to the same physical class as McCready, being well over Gft in height and weighing round about 17 stone. Ho is a natural athlete, and has excelled at a variety of sports, particularly swimming and football, in addition to wrestling. In his matches in Now Zealand to date he has shown that he is a spectacular and aggressive wrestler, and one who can bo relied upon to extend McCready to the full. He is not likely to bo pertuthcd by tho fact that McCready has recently scored two wins over "Strangler" Lewis.
