FINDING EMPLOYMENT
INVESTIGATION COMMITTEE PERSONNEL ANNOUNCED [bt telegraph—prkss association*] WELLINGTON, Thursday The personnel of the special depart, mental committee appointed by the Government to make a thorough survey of the industrial and economic position of the country, with a view. to finding useful avenues of employment for able-bodied people now out of work, was announced to-night by the actingMinister of Labour, the Hon. P. C. Webb.
Several departments are represented on the committee, and their representatives are: —Housing, 31r. J. A. lies, and Mr. A. Tyndall; Education, Mr. F. C. Renyard; Defence, JJ: Turner and Colonel O. H. Mead; Public AVorks, Mr. 11. A. Patterson and Mr. T. Barnicott;. Railways, Mr. K. Casey; Industries and Commerce. Mr. F. Johnson; Labour Department, Industrial Division, Mr.' H. E. Mostoa; Employment Division, Mr. A. J. Ridter,
